First impressions are sweet for Westerville baker Amy Whalen. Whalen, owner of Fat Girl Bakery, has garnered a good amount of attention for her home-based business over the last few years, but she turned a lot of heads this spring at the Taste of Westerville.

Since then, the shop grew in popularity and four more locations across the GTA were introduced. It wasn't until COVID-19 hit that the bakery had to close down four out of their five locations, leaving their storefront near Yonge and King in operation.
